Collection: Alexandre Granger

Alexandre Granger is a French contemporary artist and a member of the Trompe-l'œil Contemporain association, the Fondation Taylor, and Pastellistes de France. Entirely self-taught, he has developed a distinctive artistic language rooted in exceptional draftsmanship and technical precision.

His artistic journey began at the age of twelve when his grandfather placed a Critérium mechanical pencil in his hands. Decades later, Granger still uses that same pencil, considering it both a daily tool and a lasting source of inspiration. 

For Granger, drawing is the foundation of every artwork. His highly realistic style does not seek to imitate reality but rather to offer a new interpretation of it. Influenced by both classical technique and contemporary culture, his work frequently blends iconic figures, pop culture, and symbolism into compositions that invite viewers to look beyond the obvious.

He believes that a successful painting should speak for itself. Rather than explaining his work, Granger strives to create images that communicate their meaning at first glance.

His artworks have been exhibited throughout France and internationally, including exhibitions in Germany, New York, and China, earning multiple awards and recognition for his distinctive contemporary vision.
