Collection: Patrice Murciano

Patrice Murciano’s artistic journey is a vibrant tapestry woven from threads of traditional painting and digital art innovation, which he aptly terms "NEW POP." From his early days, captivated by the interplay of light and shadow, Murciano drew inspiration from the greats like Rembrandt and Van Gogh, cultivating a deep appreciation for artistic mastery.

In his teenage years, Murciano ventured into photography, with a particular focus on the feminine form, producing his inaugural artistic nudes. This exploration into the essence of female beauty marked a pivotal point in his career. His artistic curiosity didn't stop there; influenced by the raw, unfiltered expression found in the works of Picasso and Basquiat, Murciano pioneered "COURBISM."

This unique pictorial style, characterized by the intentional distortion of women's features, showcased his evolving artistic vision. Despite facing challenges along his path, a serendipitous encounter rekindled Murciano's creative spark, leading him to develop his signature "New Pop" style. This innovative approach marries the tactile depth of traditional painting with the boundless possibilities of digital techniques.

Through this lens, Murciano celebrates not only the multifaceted beauty of femininity but also delves into themes of animals and, notably, POP CULTURE, reflecting a keen pulse on contemporary life.

Murciano's distinctive work has caught the eyes of influential figures within the art world, opening doors to unique opportunities and cementing his place in the contemporary art scene. His journey from exploring light and form to becoming a herald of "New Pop" underscores a relentless pursuit of artistic evolution and expression.

For our U.S. audience, Patrice Murciano stands as a beacon of innovation in art, seamlessly blending tradition with the digital age to explore and celebrate the world around us.
