The first release of the second ArtMX season. One drop every Wednesday. Twelve collectibles exist. Ten are in the drop — one of them is the ALPHA. Two are Precious Metal Gems, available only inside the Companion Sets XXL. Once claimed, it's gone forever.
He has chased the same bird for almost eighty years. He still can't stop.
COMPULSION is Jonny Fyvie's Sylvester and Tweety. The cat and the bird are rebuilt as old stuffed toys — button eyes, loose stitches, stuffing showing at the seams. The chase never ends, and it has worn them both out. It is funny at first. Then it is a little sad. That is the point.
This ArtMX release transforms the original artwork into a collection of individually crafted collectibles. There are two ways to claim it: the drop, or a Companion Set XXL.
Two Ways to Claim
THE DROP — $350 · ten exist
Ten of the twelve. Ten different materials. No two alike — yours is a 1/1. The material is assigned at random when you order. One of the ten is the ALPHA — the only gold diamond of this artwork. One collector will receive it.
THE COMPANION SETS XXL — $1,000 each · two exist
The last two collectibles of the edition are Precious Metal Gems — prism diamond surfaces named after gemstones. They are not in the drop. Each one comes only inside a Companion Set XXL, together with the XXL collectible of the same artwork on the same material. Two pieces per set: the Precious Metal Gem (63 × 88 mm) and the XXL (184 × 258 mm). You choose your set.

Every Collectible Is Unique
Each collectible features a unique ArtMX variation assigned at random. Every collectible is a 1/1.
One collectible in this release is the ALPHA — the single piece produced on gold diamond foil. One collector will receive it.
The two Precious Metal Gems are the exception to the random rule. Companion Set collectors know their material before they order: Diamond or Tanzanite.

Each ArtMX collectible is individually produced from the original artwork, serialized, and authenticated. Every release is intentionally limited and produced only once, allowing collectors to own a unique interpretation of the original artwork.

About the Artist
Jonny Fyvie is a contemporary artist based in the UK. He works from his studio in the Surrey Hills. His work sits where pop culture, nostalgia, and modern consumption meet. He takes the icons of our childhood — classic cartoons, video game characters — pulls them apart, and rebuilds them with a sharp, satirical edge. His signature style often uses vintage currency and mixed media. He asks the viewer to look past the cartoon and see the message underneath: about fame, about money, and about time passing.
His work is held in private collections around the world. He has been commissioned by major global brands and public figures, including Toyota and Mandarin Oriental Hotels.
COMPULSION is his first ArtMX release — Week 1 of Season Two.
