The Privée is the house's private room — work that doesn't belong on the public shelf, released to members only. Every Privée piece is a 1/1, produced once, and never announced beyond this room. PASTEL is Alexandre Granger's series for it: one drawing at a time, five surfaces each, numbered as pieces of the series.
About the Artist
Alexandre Granger paints cinematic pin-up and film-icon portraiture in a sepia comic-panel register — his COVER GIRLS series is among the most collected on the platform. PASTEL is the other side of his practice: no film, no panels, no costume. Pencil and pastel from life, and the subject looking back.
