Ian Bertolucci's STITCHED IN OIL technique — oil built up until it reads like embroidery, every stroke a stitch — turned on the most famous decision in gaming: Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle. Three pieces, three rainbow holographic surfaces, made as a triptych and produced once.
Each piece is a 1/1 — one exists. You receive the exact pieces photographed.

The ArtMX Edition

About the Artist
Ian Bertolucci works in a technique of his own — STITCHED IN OIL — oil paint built up stroke by stroke until the surface reads like embroidery, every line a thread, every form a stitch. His earlier ArtMX pieces (FIRST FLAME, WILD BLOOM, INKED FLAME, BLUE TIDE) brought that texture to abstraction; this triptych brings it to the three most beloved starters in gaming.
The Pokémon triptych is his first figurative release on the platform — and the first triptych in the Vault.
